Marvel’s plan for the next years revealed!

30. 08. 2019

If you had the feeling after the last Spiderman that we would never see any superhero movies from Marvel again, then don’t worry. Marvel has already announced his film plan for the next  years at this year’s Comic Con in San Diego. It seems that End Game was not the end, but the beginning. Read on!

#THE BLACK WIDOW

Already next year of May 1st we will see a strong female heroine. Although she sacrificed her life in End Game, the story of Natasha Romanov aka Black Widow does not end there. On the contrary, in a separate film that is being filmed by director Cate Shortland, we will learn how it begins! Of course, Scarlett Johanson, who plays Black Widow in all the Avengers films, will be starring. But also, in the supporting roles will appear other famous and popular actors. Confirmed is Emma Watson aka Hermione from Harry Potter or David Harbor, which we know from the series Stranger Things. We don’t know what the story is about yet, but rumor has it that one of the negative characters will be The Taskmaster, which you may know from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. You can read more about this bad guy here.

#DOCTOR STRANGE

If you are a fan of Benedict Cumberbatch (known for his role as Sherlock in the BBC), you will be pleased to see this actor appear in the next instalment of Doctor Strange. It will also be presented in cinemas in May, but in 2021. The film will be called Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and we are sure it will be a hit. In this sequel, Marvel will surely go beyond what is possible and impossible. And we can’t wait!

#THOR

Though it seemed in the End game that Thor would join the Guardians of the Galaxy, according to the latest information, “only” another stand-alone film awaits him. Whether it will be “in a good shape” in the fourth installment is uncertain, but it is said that it will appear in the form of a woman. And it will be none other than Thor’s ex-Jane Foster aka Natalie Portman! Whether there will be a crazy exchange of bodies or a story from another dimension where Thor is a woman will be known in November 2021. But we know that the film will again be directed by Taika Waititi.

#NEW STORIES

In addition to the “old acquaintances”, we will have completely new characters in the coming years. On November 6th 2020 we will meet The Eternals, whose shooting is slowly starting to work. In the main roles we can look forward to Richard Madden, Salma Hayek or Angelina Jolie. And if you were pleased by Richard Madden, aka Rob Stark, of the Game of Thrones, then you will be pleased to see him in his film with his “brother” Jon. Kit Harrington also appears in the film! He will be starring in the role of  Black Knight.

Another new hero will be Shangchi, starring Simu Liu. We will see the Chinese superhero, known from the comics under the title Master of Kung Fu, on February 12, 2021. One year later, we will again meet the Black Panther or the reboot of Blade. It is not yet known exactly when the films will be released. The same is true of the Guardians of the Galaxy, which we are likely to see later. Looks like we have at least 3 years of great movie experience waiting for us!
