So what you need to do to prevent your uploads from getting rejected?
Follow our rules for upload:
Please do not:
Before you upload, make sure:
The most common mistakes when uploading your artworks
1. You upload bad-quality images.
You have to be sure about the highest quality of your uploads. All grainy textures and blurred backgrounds will be detected as low-quality factors that do not meet our print requirements. Keep that in mind as we might reject an image that might look bad on a large size print.
Please stick with our rules stated above and upload only those images that have at least 2000 px on the smaller size, the more the better, but please do not exceed 20 MB in total size.
2. You manually increase pixel dimensions or you use filters to increase the quality of the image.
Once you create an artwork in one size, you should not manually stretch it just to meet our requirements. We meet this case daily and we can surely recognize it.
Filters can be used and we know it can make your art look interesting, but use it wisely. Filters make sense as long as they are not used to make something bad look good. Remember that printing might instensify the filter effect, so if you’re not sure about the sharpness of your design, do not put a filter on it just to cover flaws of your artwork.
3. Text or an important content is way too close to the edge.
When creating your designs, keep in mind to leave some space around important features that makes your artwork special. You risk that it might be cut off while printing on a canvas.
4. You use a colour frame around your motif.
Using a frame within your artwork is not advisable to use because you can choose this option of a white or black border while printing your artworks in our e-shop.
5. You upload multiple images with just a slightly changed colour palette or a tiny detail.
We believe you can fill you art shop collection in different way than just use the same designs all over again and just change its colour. Originality will score you same plus points.
Now you know everything you need to know about uploading your artworks. So let’s start right now!
